Learn a fun and profitable new career in taxidermy! Blanco Taxidermy School (BTS) is designed to teach you the art of taxidermy through the highest level of instruction. We take pride in knowing that our students can instantly open a studio and start making money immediately upon graduation. There is a shortage of quality taxidermists in business today. Most taxidermists haven't received any formal training in the industry and it certainly shows through their work. At BTS, quality is the primary goal. We keep the classes small (no more than 10 students at a time) in order to provide a more one on one relationship between instructor and student. We teach the most modern and advanced techniques along with the safest chemicals and materials to achieve incredibly realistic results. At BTS, the students will do all their own work hands-on, and they will take mounts home upon completion of the course. The differences between competition and commercial work is taught with the goal in mind to help the students find what best suits them. Several techniques are taught to show the students that taxidermy can be done many different ways. We look forward to establishing the students as premiere taxidermists that are highly respected for their work based on quality.
