Curriculum and Tuition
Gamehead course 80 hours (2 weeks)
3 mounts (2 shoulder mounts and 1 antler board mount)
LIFESIZE DEMONSTRATION !!!
The students mount 2 shoulder mounts. One will be a whitetail deer, and the other will be whatever is available in stock (axis, fallow, sika, black buck, muley, or sheep).If another species is not availabe, the student will mount two whitetail deer. We feel that through repetition, the student advances much faster than most other schools, wich usually offer only one shoulder mount in a gamehead course. The students do all their work hands on, and get to keep their mounts when the course is completed. This gives them a preliminary model for reference (although nothing is better than a live animal to refer to), and allows them to display something for their first customers. They also mount an antler plaque (customer pleaser and quick money), although the focus of the course is on gameheads. European (skull) mounts will be covered as well. There will also be a demonstration on lifesize mounting techniques.
Tuition for the gamehead course is 2,500 dollars. Full payment is due by the first day of class and is refundable minus materials charges by the fifth day of class. Please call for scheduling information.
